The
Gullah - Geechee
Stories and Songs Project
...will record spoken and sung oral history of coastal African American communities, in print, video and sound track, to share with the public--with young students in particular.
The project goal is to preserve these cultural treasures and teach new generations about this deep reservoir of culture and art that enlivens and enriches us all.
